Just a few miles from the pristine campus of Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC lies a community long forgotten by its neighbors. Only in recent years has attention been drawn to the fire circumstances and the cyclical poverty that grip the community at Blackmon Road. Here is a photo essay which accompanied a written article for the Eagle I, a special investigative edition of the Winthrop Unversity Newspaper.
